Does the nursery deliver?
Yes, the nursery will deliver for a fee depending on the location of the delivery.
Does the nursery install plants that are purchased at the nursery?
Yes, the nursery will install plants and trees for a charge, depending on the size of the plant or tree.
Does the nursery have a plant guarantee?
Yes. We offer a one year guarantee on plants, excluding annuals, house plants, tender tropicals and succulents. We will replace the plant, offer a comparable plant in exchange, or give a store credit for the amount of the plant being returned. The warranty is void for those plants not on an automatic irrigation system. We do not replace replacement plants. For further details, click here to read our return policy.
Does the nursery offer landscape design and installation?

Does the nursery offer gift cards?
Yes, you may purchase gift cards from the nursery, the café or online. The gift cards may be used in both the nursery and the café.
Does the nursery offer a way to keep up with events, classes, and sales?
Yes, High-Hand generally sends out an e-newsletter every Wednesday which provides information on upcoming events and sales. Click here to sign up.
Are pets welcome at High-Hand?
Yes. Pets on leashes are always welcome in the nursery and the fruit sheds. Service dogs are welcome at the café.
Cafe & Hosted Events
Does High-Hand Café host weddings or corporate events?
Yes. We have hosted weddings, corporate dinners, corporate fundraisers, family reunions and memorial dinners. We can accommodate most events within our event minimums and occupancy limitations.
How many guests can the conservatory accommodate?
90 guests in the dining area and 28 additional guests on the patio, weather permitting.
Can we have a wedding ceremony only at High-Hand?
At this time, we cannot accommodate a ceremony only.
Does High-Hand Nursery and Café allow outside catering?
We do not allow outside catering.
Can we provide our own alcoholic beverages?
No. We can provide a no host or open bar. We serve wine, beer and signature cocktails.
Why is buffet pricing more expensive than plated pricing?
When preparing buffets, we prepare more food as guests tend to go back for other options and seconds.
Are there food and beverage minimums?
Yes. Our event package includes all the information on our pricing.
Do we need a wedding coordinator or event coordinator?
Our event packaging includes a day of coordinator to help execute the entire event, from booking to day of event.
How late can our event run?
Events end at 10:00 p.m. Last call for alcoholic beverages is at 9:45 p.m. Local noise ordinances are adhered to strictly.
Do I need insurance for my event?
Yes. We require event insurance for the day of your event. We will provide insurance requirements and information on how to acquire your event insurance.
